Rescued People (Exodus 14)

On Sunday Lifehouse Church Bicester and Banbury came together for a service, and I had the privilege of continuing their series through the book of Exodus. We looked together at what it means to be a rescued people. I considered how God delivered his people out of Egypt through the plagues and the passover, but also how that was only the beginning of their journey towards freedom.

In Exodus 14, God’s people are pursued by Pharaoh’s armies and find themselves facing an impassable sea. But God makes a way for them to cross over towards freedom in the promised land.

In this talk I show that rescued people need to know their enemy and trust their saviour.
